If you’re visiting this page for the first time, we thought that we might share some music with you. Here are five songs from our first three singles - all we’d like in return is your email address so that we can pump your inbox full of our propaganda.
TOKOLOSH are super pleased to tell you that we’ll be performing as part of the Whitworth Art Gallery’s Weekending festival in Manchester on Friday 30th August. The gallery is closing for 8 months while they add a new extension, and they’re throwing a pretty big shindig to close up.
It all starts at 4pm, but the music begins around 7pm. We’ll be playing alongside Denis Jones, We Are Willow and Samson & Delilah. It’s totally free to come see us all too. That’s right - zero door tax. TOKOLOSH and the Whitworth Art Gallery are legit good guys.
There’s more information HERE for those that dig detail.
Oh, and HERE is the Facebook event page. Way to go, social media!
We’re not at all pumped to let you know that this Thursday’s show in Chorlton has been cancelled.
Here’s a statement from the Bop Local guys -
"We’re really gutted that the Tokolosh & Frazer King gig, this Thursday 11th July at Chorlton Irish Club, will have to be re-scheduled (date TBC). A few technical issues happened at Bop Local last week, which may not be resolved in time. We (Bop Local Productions and Chorlton Irish Club) don’t want to take a chance, so we’ve decided to postpone the gig. Everyone who bought tickets online or from the Irish Club will be refunded. Please message Tom, Phil, me ~ or Chris at Chorlton Irish Club so that refunds can be arranged. We’ll also give free Bop Local tickets too. Thanks."
We’ll be back with a Manchester show soon. In the meantime, you can still see us at the Cloudspotting festival in Slaidburn, Lancashire on Sunday 28th July.
